KEYWORD: CANDY BUFFETS

I don't think candy buffets will ever go out of style. Everybody loves candy and it gives you an excuse to make beautiful tablescapes like these!

KEYWORD: COLOR PALETTES

I decided to kick off the blog with some color by searching for color palettes. Most brides try to start off their wedding planning with a color scheme in mind. Some people use their favorite color(s), some people pick colors that work well with the flowers they want to use, and still others might pick a color based on their cultural influences.

The Bridal Party Close Up

A friend once gave me a tip to pick the bridesmaids dresses first and let that dictate your wedding colors. I ended up finding these dresses on sale that either came in hot pink or pale yellow. I had some of my girls try on the dresses and the yellow was a clear winner. From there, I decided to add blue to the color scheme since my husband's favorite color was blue and blue and yellow are our almer mater's colors (go Bruins!). It was all very fitting and worked out well since I love yellow flowers too.

I Loved My Bouquet

Now that I've shared our wedding, here are some other beautiful color inspirations I found using Wedding Blog Search:
